Drinking and riding or driving is a serious matter, ideally nobody should drink and then take control of a vehicle, but in reality many of us do. This little device will help you make an informed decision whether or not to ride a bike (or drive a car) after youve had an alcoholic drink. The current UK guidelines* state a threshold of 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, often referred to as a BAC (Blood-Alcohol Concentration), in this case 0.08%. This device has 3 LED indicators detailing the BAC of the users breath sample, the LEDs use a traffic light sequence to show if the user is safe to drive a vehicle or not.
GREEN = sample below 0.05% BAC - OK to ride YELLOW = sample over 0.05% BAC - Borderline case, recommendation not to ride YELLOW & RED = sample over 0.08% BAC - Do NOT ride
Encased in a small unit key-fob, there is no reason ever to be without this essential tool, it might save you your license! Additional features included in the unit; LED torch clock with countdown timer and stopwatch.
This unit must only be used as a guideline to the users alcohol concentration, it cannot be relied upon to be calibrated to Police and local authorities equipment. No responsibility can be accepted by the manufacturer or supplier in cases where the user is found to be in excess of the legal limits. * Information correct at time of going to press.
